Make Democracy Work

The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.

This week the Senate will move forward on immigration reform legislation. S. 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act, isn't a perfect bill. However, it will begin the process of fixing America's broken immigration system.
