Do You Want to Join the Publications Team?

Our Palm Beach County League begins creating the “Voters Guide” in March of each even year, to insure that they are ready for distribution several months before the November election. Following the election, we create the “Directory of All Elected Officials”. If you would like to volunteer to assist with these or need more information, contact the Chair at publications@lwvpbc.org

Our mission is to empower and educate voters. By providing non-partisan information related to voting for local, state, and federal candidates, voters are assisted in making an informed decision about candidates and issues. 

The Voters Guide contains voting information, registration deadlines, voting dates, and candidates’ responses to questions created by a sub-group of the Voters Guide team. The Voters Guide is then distributed with the local daily newspaper. It is also delivered by League volunteers to libraries, government agencies, and underserved areas in Palm Beach County.

There are several teams that work together to create the Voters Guide and the Directory of Elected Officials. These include:
•    Research Team 
•    Questions Team 
•    Technical Team (primarily for Vote 411) 
•    Editing Team
•    Candidate Contact Team
•    Distribution Team

We are interested in adding League members to these important teams. If you would like to volunteer to assist with these, contact publications@lwvpbc.org
