This Zoom webinar will explore and inform attendees about the unprecedented attempt to redraw Florida’s congressional districts outside the normal census cycle. This is widely viewed as an effort to create additional and stronger Republican-leaning districts.
Redistricting is traditionally done only after the U.S. Census (every 10 years) to reflect population changes.
Mid-decade redistricting raises concerns about fair representation, transparency, and potential partisan advantage.
