LWVPBC intern Christina Pugliese receives award

LEAGUE INTERN, ASPIRING JOURNALIST WINS TOP PRIZE

One of our new LWVPBC summer interns is Christina Pugliese, who will be graduating from Palm Beach Central High School this month. She is the co-Editor-in-Chief of The Bronco Beat, the school newspaper, that took the top prize at the Palm Beach Post’s annual Excellence in High School Journalism Awards. Excited at having received the award, Christina commented: “When my co-editor in chief Mikayla and I ran up to the stage we were laughing so much that the editors of the Palm Beach Post started getting hysterical too! The photographer couldn’t even take the photo at first!”

Christina will be off to the University of Florida in the Fall to study Journalism. Congratulations, Christina! We expect great things from you!
